okay so I'm blogging because I arrived early in school but ITS BETTER THAN NOTHING OKAY! LOL.

so things have been pretty hectic now, actually nah, its pretty relaxed, its just that I have been depriving myself of well-deserved sleep to watch this really cute korean drama which I think I could be the last in the world to watch. its damn nice kay! but i am not going to tell you the title least you laugh at me ):

right, so I am totally excited that February is coming, you can imagine me jumping out of bed everyday washing my face like some commercial on tv singing I'm going back soon.

okay thats plain retarded. HAHAHAHAH.

I think you must be wondering why I am so cranking early in the morning! because because because! yesterday I got De Wei's letter! HAHAHAHA. and I am damn happy I got her letter because its so cute and iwasdamnexcitedbecauseihaven'tgotaletterinareallylongtimeandthisletterwassuchasweetandniceonewithsomanynicethingswritteninsidebutiamnotgoingtotellyouwhatitissoastopissthehelloutofyou (:

along with that, I need you nice people to help me. because, if you want me to get something for you, you have to give me a clue so as to i know what to get without aimlessly walking through the mall trying to find something to get you (cos' my exams are coming and I don't have much time to do any shopping ):) so tell me latest by next wednesday okay! (the next wednesday dated from today not when you read this okay.)

I am totally craving for Singapore food and their laksa here sucks damn bad. they use bee hoon as the noodle thingy. eew. hahaha I told Mom when she comes to fetch me at the airport to have a packet of carrot cake in one hand and chicken rice in the other. I think it will be damn funny imagining my mom holding them like uhhm how do I describe it. like... some cai shen. HAHAHAHA. isn't that awesome! in conjunction with CNY. HAHAHAHAHAH.

&Dewei promised me we would go and shop in Orchard till our legs break and that way I would be bed ridden in Singapore for my entire stay. isn't she nice! LOL.

&you know. facebook is becoming increasingly annoying of late because weird preverted old chee ko peks who are married or in their thirties are adding me in facebook, its like wth do i even know you!, okay ya it's damn weird. like I never got these before. omg. super creepy. & yes, I am super disappointed I can't attend some International Skip School Day because I don't even have school on that, I don't have exams on that day too! otherwise it can be Internation Skip Exams Day (Y) I will be so pwned. HAHAHAHA. and we can all forget about Internation Give A Friend A Retreiver Day because that day will never come (*hint)

LOL.

& I have no idea how (Y) I can be. my wardrobe capacity is already at its max. wthi'veonlybeenhereforlike7months. ya. I am not going to spend anymore. really! I am not going to spend and I am going to save money and :D muahahahahahahahahahhahahahhahahhaaa.

it feels as though it was 2008 last week.

goodness gracious me. I honestly can't believe time flies so fast.

it's suppose to be a really happy and joyous occassion right! dude, its the New Year afterall! but, its also a time where I have had time to sit down and self reflect.

Looking Back at 2009:

I think 2009 has been a really significant year for me, life-changing honestly. So much has happened in 2009 when I look back right now.

I feel so fortunate to have some absolutely wonderful friends in Poly, my dearest TA22 peeps! I love you guys so much! My wonderful primary school friends who have been ever so nice to me and its so nice to think that we have kept in contact since 12! My ever so lovely girls from 4D, although I haven't really talked to you in quite a while ;x and not to forget my pau gang and red cross dudes! And my wonderful friends I met here in Sydney, thank you guys so much!

okay I shall copy Zhi Yong's (tskk, he doesn't even know my blog's link!) indivdual/group word of thanks or something, whatever you call it. ;D

crap, this will take forever.

hahaha which is why I changed my mind ;D

I feel so fortunate to have such wonderful and supporting parents and I am really happy that they are healthy and hopefully they would get along better this year.

It was rather sad having to leave NP to come here, leaving everything that I loved, my friends, family and food (woah, they are all starting with f) but I don't regret it because I have learnt and got to experience things I doubt I would ever get to experience back in Singapore, and this is really a life changing period for me. I really have to work really hard here and concentrate on what I want here. Sometimes I do feel sad, sad that I had to leave my lovely family and friends but I have to tell myself to be strong and that once I'm done here, its gonna be all good. and from today onwards, I have to freaking save money and stop spending like crazy! yeap, like I said, I am retiring from shopping, yes you heard me right. goodbye shopping! (for the time being).

so yea thats really what I feel. again, I'm gonna say how fast time passes. I can't believe its already the new year. 2009 passed too fast. on the overall. I have to say 2009 has been pretty much rewarding for me and I think I have grew up quite a lot, I've seen the many sides of human nature and got to meet different people with totally different characters, and I think I'm much more independent right now. I do have to say I have a higher tolerance for many things right now, and I realised I really love my family more than ever.

With the ending of 2009, I hope everything bad that happened in 2009 would just go away and as though nothing happened. Putting the past behind, and hopefully I would change for the better, all my terrible bad habits and bad points about me would change and as well as for others. Not a lot of people know bout this blog and this might not be seen by a large group of people but this is just a little something for those people in the previous sentence:

you guys were actually really nice, but I hope you would learn how to deal with people and just spare a thought for other people because your selfishness and self centered attitude just puts people off. hopefully the new year would change you and although I doubt we would even see or talk to each other again, I wish you all the best and may you change for the better. Good Luck.

and so, yeap! that is the end of my 2009. now moving on to 2010! Hopefully this year would be one full of happiness and that there would be no unhappy things, hopefully everything would go smoothly for everyone reading this blog.

New Years' Eve!

okay, so new years eve has been the most tiring one I have ever had in my whole life. Its crazily tiring and I'm so not doing it ever again in my life. haha, so you know the Sydney fireworks are kinda world famous or so I was told. but yea, people from all over the world do come here to celebrate and welcome the new year. so my friends and I decided to follow the crowd and view the Sydney fireworks at the Habour Bridge from the Botanic Gardens. So on 30/12, woke up at 9am and went to the fish market for some madly fresh sashimi and seafood and the most important one of all, for my favourite ice cream of all time here, Pat and Stick's Homemade Ice Cream, oh-so-lovely (:

hanged around the city for a while, went home, slacked, got like 30minutes of sleep and left home at 1.30am to head on back to the city to queue up to enter the botanical gardens (yea, so crazy, I know) so its like we queued from 3.30am all the way till 10.00am when we could enter the Botanical Gardens and mind you, when we reached at 3.30am, there were like heaps of people already in front of us. there were at least 150 people in front of us sleeping. yea its that crazy. so the moment we entered the place at 10.00 am everyone was running like mad to get a good spot to view the fireworks and when we were there it was like all the really awesome spots were already taken although ours was considered pretty good.

hahahah its 1.34am right now and I really want to sleep so the remaining part of this post is gonna be pretty crappy.

so we waited for like 20 odd hours which was like crap cos it was raining, cold and then hot so everyone was tired and sticky which was absolutely terrible and crappy.  and by 4pm, the place was absolutely packed with people, it was people everywhere! the entire botanical gardens was packed with people, people, people, people. it was crazy how many people actually came just to view the fireworks. just to view the fireworks.

and that is just a fraction of the people who came. not even a fraction. a peanut.

sad to say, by 8pm, everyone was in a bad mood. hahahah yes, including me. and it was like it isn't worth it anymore! stuck and confined in this itsy bitsy grass patch, having to squeeze with ang mohs who can't stop drinking and blasting Empire State of Mind which was okay if those crazy russian girls would stop singing and insulting the song and they don't even know the lyrics so they would go:

over and over and over again. omgawd. its freaking annoying I couldn't freaking stand it. I would love to tell them to stfu and get a life but I might get bashed by their aussie guy friends so I rather shut up.

so we waited "patiently" which included alot of wailing and lamenting hahahahhaha and at 9pm there were fireworks which sucked because everyone stood up and rushed forward so we say mostly heads and stupid ang mohs are so freaking tall. but honestly, the fireworks were really beautiful and there were 3 spots putting off fireworks at the same time.

Merry Christmas! Time passes so friggin fast, its totally impossible ):  its sad because time waits for no one but its nice to know that the new year is coming! ;D I absolutely miss Singapore to a tiny million bits.

firstly,

because I totally can't feel the Christmas spirit here, like please lah, the Christmas tree in Taka can pwn Milson's Place's Christmas tree in June. No joke. HAHAHA. okay maybe a little. but you get the idea. and its like I've only seen 2 Christmas trees of proper proportions here. thats like damn pathetic. so idc, I am so going back to Singapore next year to celebrate my Christmas and New Year so you have to remember to ask me out okay! hehehe.

so ya, this year, very different leh. Miss home ): so I can't wait to go back to Singapore! even though its for a pathetic 2 weeks but its better than nothing aights!

what do I want to do when I get back to Singapore?

1. GO ORCHARD ION (rofl. I know its stupid to put it as Numba 1 but I want to go ):)

2. EAT ALL THE NICE BUFFETS IN SINGAPORE TILL I'M 70KG (:

3. eat char siew bao.

4. eat laksa, chicken rice and carrot cake.

5. meet up with all my friends.

6.  sneak into the uncompleted universal studios and act like an idiot.

7. stone.

8. drool.

9. uhhm..

10. ya I think so too.

okay, lets talk bout something else.

I went to climb the Habour Bridge!

rating: 8/10

not bad, quite nice, but I have to admit that our guide had a rather dry sense of humour, like he makes jokes so often its not so funny anymore. but other than that, it was really fun, its really not as scary as I thought, in fact, there is totally nothing scary at all! but I have to say, the night view is absolutely breathtaking. like at the peak of the habour bridge, you get to see the lovely lighted city of Sydney accompanied by the Opera House (: absolutely beautiful. and thank goodness it was windy up there if not it would spoil the entire experience. (:

I absolutely loved the climb and I think its pretty worth the money just that I don't like the fact that they don't let us bring cameras up ): spoiler. pttff.

I apologize for the oh-so-lousy resolution hehehe, was trying to save space so took super low reso pics. ;D but the fireworks here I have to say are really prettay, just stop repeating the same routine in 3 weeks, even if you don't get sick of it, I do (:

oh yea, and I realised that Singapore English is (Y). people actually are unable to understand what Singaporeans are saying. hahahahah (Y).

and yesterday while buying supper in the city, I was looking at the restaurant's menu and it said

fried noodles with vegetables Singarpore style.

wah. please, ultimate insult can. what SingaRpore. oh puh-lease! I don't know why I didn't snap a photo of it but I was totally like ==

okay, so I tried blogging in class but my phone wasn't the most cooperative gadget around.

I shouldn't be blogging now anyway because I have a microecons test coming up on Friday but.. heck! hahaha. so here I am in the living blogging while watching Scorpion King. I'm actually pretty suprised with myself for being able sit down and watch the entire movie The Mummy, given such a coward and scaredy cat I am, I actually finished the entire movie! so thats an accomplishment to me, of some sort. yea, it was pretty gross at some parts but it was pretty neat.

I really need to get more sleep, I think its the lack of sleep that is screwing up my already screwed up mind. I absolutely can't wait for Christmas Eve to come, honestly, I think this has to be the most looked-forward day second to New Year's Eve because.. it's Christmas Eve! so hopefully we're gna have loads of fun and Christmas Day dinner is gna be totally awesome.. I hope.

and I'm so addicted to The Script right now, I think they are just so awesome. Love you guys!

so, I was in the school's toilet just now and you know there are alot of little cute mic people around and they paste all sorts of advertisements on the toilet walls, and there was this one particular advertisement that sort of tickled me a little. hahahaha. let me show you why:

my dearest friends, please take note, I never knew Charles and Keith was branded. hahahahahahhahaahaahahahahhahahahahaahhahahaah. okay, maybe it is to some, but I defintely don't remember C&K bags being considered branded in Singapore. wow, I have a branded bag! oh crap. sarcasm ttm.

I know it has been ages since I last updated and I am really sorry.

LOL, but its not like a lot of people read my blog so it isn't that bad.

anyways, everything here has been pretty good so far. a friend of mine moved in with me last week and so i've been pretty busy so far.

oh yea, I found a job. uhm I don't think I mentioned this before. its at a sandwich shop which is pretty good because I love eating bread. hahahaha but of course I don't eat excessively. the pay is pretty alright. Hopefully my boss will give me a raise after the new year or something. hmmm $12 per hour, much better than singapore of course, but its like the food here is more expensive than what is available in singapore.

so right now, work has been piling up so much its pretty annoying because been the last minute kinda person, this is pretty hectic. but hey, I pinky promise I will be more efficient when the holidays are over. no, honestly.

so it's Gladys' birthday today and so Happy b-day Gladys! and for the past week, I've been constantly thinking of Singapore.

I really wanna go back ):

I miss the food so much (hahahaha yes the food.)

and I miss everyone there!
