this has to be the 5th time I have tried to sit down and blog properly.
honestly, I seriously doubt anyone visits this place because even I don't come here anymore. hahahaha.
I actually have so much to blog about but I am just too darn lazy to blog.
alright, how bout this lets blog about the most recent stuff first and work backwards. yea, sounds good.
18 March '10

yea so I went to Lady Gaga's "The Monster Ball Tour", I know lots of people think Gaga's weird and don't really like her and stuff but you've gotta say she's a really good performer. haha so anyway, I totally loved her concert, it was like crazy. gosh the amount of people who went to her concert was 834798723419823, okay well, it was a sold-out concert. and it was Gaga's concert so I was expecting people to dress in gaudy costumes with over-the-top makeup and stuff but boy, Australians are (Y). hahaha I didn't snap photos of them but you know, there was this girl in a itsy swimsuit sort of thing with duct-tape over her "special area" lol if you don't get it then nevermind!
so Semi Precious Weapons were there for her opening act and they were really good on stage, and Justin Tranter literally changed his entire outfit on stage. so it was like everyone could see him butt naked. the sound system was so freaking good my heart was like gna fly out of my chest with every beat, I couldn't hear properly when I got out of the concert. hah
alright, so this is what it said on the ticket:
Lady Gaga 7:30pm
as you can see, it wrote 7:30pm but guess what, you know what time the concert started?
9:00pm.
no joke. omg we almost died waiting for it to start. but the funniest thing is that, at least we got to sit, but those people wayyy in the front had to stand from who knows what time. so anyway her concert was really awesome kay, she changed outfits like 10 over times (I lost count so I gave up counting) and the effects were really da bomb. hahaha so yea its a pity she's not going to Singapore but she's going Japan so you can fly there, not. lol
she can really sing live.
okay! so it was my birthday on the 9th. I don't really wanna think about it because it means I am a year older which sucks big time. I feel so old. ):
you know its like when you are 7 and in Primary 1, you are so envious of those "seniors" coming back to school to visit their teachers,
and when we are those "seniors" we think its not a big deal.
when you are in Secondary 1, you think those that graduated last year are damn ass cool when they come back during teachers' day and they are in JC and Poly. like whoooooooooooooooooooo. omfg they are like in JC and Poly.
after you graduate from Secondary, damn you feel like you are so damn OLD. crapp. this is so not good. OLD is sucha bad word! doesn't it suck thinking that you will get older and older and older?! I wish I can stay 19 forever! yea thats good. staying 19 forever, yea.
alright, I almost put this post on hold again.
I am seriously not cut out for blogging, because I doubt I would be able to keep a blog constantly active for a long period of time. bleah.
but I'll try to make an effort, honestly I'll try, but I honestly doubt anyone else would be reading this page besides me (: right right right?
knew it.
so anyway, I have so much to talk about actually and hence I think this blog post will be a hell of a long one. lets see, I have so many things to blog about I can hardly remember what I have to blog about.
oh okay, let's talk bout Singapore then!
I really wanna thank my lovely classmates who so sweetly came to fetch me at the airport. I was super super touched and I love you guys alot!
got to catch up with them which was so so so nice! because I really miss the nonsense talking sessions and not to forget all the gossips and stuff! and I totally miss the XLBs HAHAHAHA. and my two bodyguards! hahaha
so during my two extremly short weeks in Singapore, I think I gained a whole lot of weight, I feel so heavy now ):
so the palce I visited the most during my two weeks is

St Regis Hotel
awesome ambience and service and pretty nice food!
so my first visit to St Regis was for their Sunday Brunch with Mom,
Mom joined the Astor Card Membership awhile ago so we decided to put the card to good use (:
went to Brasserie Les Saveurs for Sunday Brunch

when we went in, the manager or someone similar welcomed us and was so hospitable, absolutely wonderful service! he was really nice and warm and explained everything to us so that we would feel at home.

so the first picture is the starters! which was totally lovely! see the creme brulee looking thing? that was heaven! that is Foie Gras Creme Brulee! omg. it was absolutely mouthwatering! I absolutely fell in love with it! gosh, talking about it makes me wnna have some right now ):
I had so much Foie Gras that day I actually had to turn down the Foie Gras when the waiter offered some. gosh, it was so so so good! but I couldn't eat another bite! I totally wanna eat some now ):
we also had main courses! mom had scallops and I had steak, omgosh the beef was made to perfection! it was so tender and $#^*&^*$!@#$%^&*&^%$#!@#$%^ I can't really find the words to describe it right now cos its 2am and I am hungry.
its just damn good. okay! you get the point.
I didn't take any photos cos of my ego. LOL. too embarrassing to snap pictures like no tomorrow in a 6 star hotel. so ya. :D
and they had a really wonderful live band playing jazz songs and one of the guys came to talk to us and they even played and singed 'My Cheri Amour' for us! it was so nice! super happy! so yea I totally recommend everyone who reads this to go there for Sunday Brunch, I have to admit it is kind of a splurge to go there but its something I think everyone should try! its like you know you have to visit The Line at least once kind of thing. (:
and a couple of days later, Mom and I checked-in for a day!
let the pictures do the talking kay! I did some exploring in the room ;D

okay thats alot of uploading. I just think the Intimate Kit is damn funny.
oh btw their service is really very good (Y).
so we went back to Brasserie Les Saveurs for hightea, to be honest, I don't really fancy their high tea, I think its not really worth the money you pay, its like you pay $40++ per person for two scones, a couple of finger foods and a peice of cake. and it was not fantasticly good so I was pretty disappointed, their scones though were really good, just that we couldn't get more, its like 2 per person! so pathetic. so if you want to have high tea, please just go to Equinox. call me along if you want to go kay! I have 50% off ((:
and we went for Dim Sum a week later! the dim sum at Yan Ting in St Regis is really marvellous, better than Sunday Brunch. honestly, it was THE BEST! its like we get to eat lobster!
we could choose one out of 3 flavours:
- lobster baked with cheese and bacon
- lobster with garlic
- lobster with (something I can't remember)
and you get a complimentary sharks fin soup too. (but I refuse to eat sharks fin soup because its cruel and how can you bear to eat animals on the brink of extinction!) please support the preservation of sharks (:
I'm actually very tired of blogging because I have so much to say but the main thing is Yan Ting is really very good and I honestly recommend you go there more than Sunday Brunch. this is absolutely the best of the entire St Regis and it is a must go! its a buffet meal and you can eat as many things as you want and the food there is really solid and delicious, fresh and the best!
absolutely love it.
I'll blog about the rest of the stuff another time kay! so let's just leave things as they are for now and I promise I'll update soon.
oh btw,
Gladys says Hi.
heheehehehehehehe.
LOL.
LOVEYALL
XOXO,
Serena
